Hannah's feedback about Tobias (Intermediate Music Theory tuition near Cheltenham)
Toby has been a fantastic tutor for both my son’s grade 5 theory and then his grade 8 singing exams. He is friendly, patient, knowledgeable and encouraging. Toby has experience in a wide range of musical disciplines which he draws upon in his lessons, adding extra value. Feedback from my son, “working with Toby has been a great experience! He is understanding and whenever I struggled with something he would approach things in a different way in order to help.”
Sinead's feedback about James (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Battersea)
James is a fantastic tutor, punctual , friendly, my son is extremely happy and comfortable and learning well .
Nicole's feedback about Andromachi (Intermediate Music Theory tuition near Oxford)
Maggie is an amazing teacher. She is super patient with my daughter, who has gone through several different teachers previously. She has enabled my daughter to pass her Grade 4 music theory with Merit, and is currently working with her to pass her Grade 5 music theory. I would highly recommend Maggie!
Andrew's feedback about Robert (Expert Music Theory tuition near Knottingley)
I am currently studying for the ABRSM grade 7 theory with Robert, who is an excellent teacher. He's very engaged, experienced, knowledgeable and I am enjoying each lesson.
Archie's feedback about Melodi (Beginner Music Theory tuition near Bristol)
Even though my lessons are quite spread out I am finding that the things I am being taught by Melodi are sticking with me (provided I do my homework properly outside of lessons). Melodi has a great way of making things easy to understand and is very patient when there is something that's taking a bit longer to click.
Di's feedback about Athena (Beginner Music Theory tuition near Brentford)
She is an absolutely great teacher, my son has been learning music theory from Athena for almost a year now and he’s very excited to see her every week. My son has so far heading to pass grade 3 with flying colours. Athena has been very professional , with a great attention to details, she works closely with our schedule and on time. We have been changed to online class lately and has never been any problem.
Karen's feedback about Ed (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Battersea)
Ed. is very amicable and brilliant at explaining any music theory concepts that I throw at him logically from all different angles. A rare sparkling gem tutor that I've taken so long to find it is a sacrilege to have to share the truth with you! How are you so utterly rational man? Ha!
Matthew's feedback about Carol (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Bristol)
I have been a mature student of Carols via online for ABRSM G5 Theory. Our weekly sessions are well structured and Carol has experience, knowledge and patience to guide me through the areas I have found more tricky. The sessions have been enjoyable and encouraging. I elected for online lessons for convenience even though I live less than a mile away and these have worked extremely well and I was delighted with my Distinction result. I would recommend Carol to anyone looking to pursue their music ambitions.
Jane's feedback about Daniel (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Bath)
Daniel is working well with my daughter to advance her theory and is friendly, professional and has been flexible with lesson times when other commitments have been unavoidable. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose him again in the future.
Neil's feedback about Isaac Hunter (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Highbury)
I got in touch with Hunter to help prepare me for a grade 8 theory exam that I was taking a month later, and I wanted some structure and tutoring for that. I was worried not only about the content, but being able to do it in the time. The whole experience was excellent. Hunter was knowledgeable, friendly, knew the ABRSM syllabus and how they marked, understood what I needed, and helped enormously. He was also accommodating in terms of finding times that suited me. Particularly helpful aspects were helping me a have clear structure for the free melody composition, understanding the harmonic structure of the pieces before I started answering, and thinking about chord function contextually. I got to the point where I'd taken in all I could a week or so before the exam, so paused my lessons. I took the exam and passed, and would now like to have some more sessions to look at composition.
