Meet some of our Flute Teachers
Amelia's feedback about Sophie (Intermediate Flute tuition near Raynes Park)
Sophie is a brilliant tutor: she brings a positive and encouraging attitude to each session. She has shared some great techniques and exercises with me in terms of producing a quality sound on the flute, and when learning, practising and improving my performance of different pieces. She is flexible, reliable and keeps lessons fast paced and varied. Her knowledge and expertise (as a flautist and of related musical history and music theory) have been invaluable throughout my lessons with her. I've had the confidence to pick up and regularly play an instrument I hadn't practised in a long time thanks to her guidance, support and enthusiasm. I highly recommend Sophie!
Daphne's feedback about Alison (Beginner Flute tuition near Consett)
Alison is friendly, very helpful and patient. She is very flexible when booking lessons. I’m an older lady in my 70s, and have had to give up clarinet playing, so decided to play my daughter’s flute and after 2 lessons, I am going to play in the church band on Sunday. Without Alison’s help, this wouldn’t have been possible. I would recommend her to anyone!
Jen's feedback about Eronwy (Beginner Flute tuition near Guildford)
Eronwy has been very helpful and professional and we are really pleased with our daughter's progress.
Amanda's feedback about Amanda (Beginner Flute tuition near Haslemere)
Amanda is a great teacher. Inspiring, motivating and she makes the lessons fun. My 14-year old daughter had stopped playing the flute, but since her lessons with Amanda she's full of confidence and has improved amazingly. Annie really looks forwards to her lessons and practices without having to be told to, which is brilliant,
Orsolya's feedback about Anna (Beginner Flute tuition near Leeds)
Anna is a great teacher! I've had 3 lessons so far with her and I feel that I'm able to progress at a good speed. She is very patient and has given me practical pointers throughout the lessons. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anna as a flute teacher.
Helen's feedback about Judy Ya-Heng (Expert Flute tuition near Muswell Hill)
Judy is an excellent teacher with a solid knowledge of good flute technique. She was very happy to take me on as a pupil even though I haven't played the flute for 23 years! Within 3 lessons I am improving and in fact am learning to play the flute in a much better fashion than I did all those years ago!
Zara's feedback about Victoria (Intermediate Flute tuition near Chichester)
Victoria is friendly and personable, well presented and punctual. The first lesson went very well, we looked at posture and first steps to playing a flute. The lesson was informative and geared to my beginner /intermediate level. We covered several points, the lesson was good value for money! Victoria is very encouraging which is fantastic. My only real critisism, if I had to be constructive to help Victoria develop as a serious teacher of music is to look abit smarter because it does have bearing on the lesson. I enjoyed the lesson and it helped me to make good progress. Well done!☺ I think Victoria has a lot to teach as regards the flute, and also general musicianship.
Lillian's feedback about Sarah (Beginner Flute tuition near Muswell Hill)
Sarah is wonderful! Thank you for teaching my daughter to play the flute - it’s such a different experience with you, rather than in school. Thank you for the positive, enthusiastic and warm approach.
Tania's feedback about Amy (Advanced Flute tuition near Bristol)
Amy was away for August and so I need to contact her now that she should be back. Can you advise how I do this as it has not been possible via First Tutors? I paid for the access and now am struggling to arrange lessons without her contact details.
Lu's feedback about Cansu (Beginner Flute tuition near Bracknell)
My 8-year-old daughter likes her class very much. we will keep flowing her.
