Personal Description:
I am currently pursuing a second Masters in Music Education: Instrumental Teaching at the University of York. I am passionate about flute playing (MMus) and I love teaching. I am highly enthusiastic about passing on what I have learnt and open-minded concerning music approaches. I enjoy listening to Bach as I enjoy listening to Jacques Loussier, Ella Fitzgerald and Adele!
Tutoring Experience:
Flute/Piccolo teaching in various greek conservatories (2018-2019) and Philharmonics (2016-2017)
Music Theory teaching in greek conservatories (2018-2019)
Piano & Guitar teaching at Primary Schools (2015-2017)
Tutoring Approach:
Depending on the Level, Ability and age of the pupil, my approach is to be flexible and work together with the pupil around the things they like best, together with my guidance. It is all collaborative work and not merely a transmission from me to the pupil so I expect highly motivated pupils that are keen for us to work together and achieve our goals.
