Arts and Crafts can involve a large number of specialist areas, for instance sketching and modelling or computer programmes e.g. CAD or Adobe. Working with a private Art tutor or home Wood-work tutor can be a more interesting way to explore your knowledge, stretch yourself or clarify the basics in Design and Technology. If you are currently working towards a Design Technology award, such as your GCSE or A Levels, one-to-one revision tutoring might provide that additional push that turns a B into an A!

Improving your exam grades and getting real enjoyment from your work are two excellent reasons to consider Art and Craft tutoring or Technology tutoring. A private Art tutor, one-to-one Craft tutor or individual Technology tutor may work with you on your Design and Technology assignments, advise you on using tools or computer programs, or provide pointers for examinations and essays. Subjects that rely on creativity can be fun, but Art and Design GCSE and Technology GCSEs have strict course objectives like every other subject. A home Art teacher or individual Technology tutor will help ensure you can meet your course objectives so that good grades are attained. Please feel free explore the profiles of registered Art tutors and private Technology tutors near you to see who has the tutoring approach right for you. You are also able to view the feedback left by previous pupils.

Our Arts and Crafts teachers focus on providing support for school subjects. Anyone interested in Arts and Crafts as a hobby should take a look at our specialised Arts and Crafts site, found at www.firsttutors.com/uk/art/.

First Tutors is the only site to discover through one search the most suitable home Craft and Design teacher for your needs, their charges and distance from you. Craft and Design can be a demanding subject, and a Craft and Design tutor can really speed up your progress!

If you are a private tutor wishing to offer your home tuition services in Craft and Design or any of our other subjects, please register with First Tutors or find out more about what we do here.
