Well the first thing to say is that both my children love Laurence. When I say to them they have a French lesson today they are excited. I am not quite sure how she has managed to muster that much enthusiasm out of them for learning French, but it makes their learning experience great. From the first lesson I could see that Laurence had put a lot of work into her lesson plan, she is very organised and has set out a plan going forward. They have both progressed very quickly and have become much more confident. We are very happy with Laurence and I would definitely recommend her.

I have no issue with Mireille at all. The issue as such is that I wanted face to face French tuition but at the moment she is only offering tuition by Skype. I would hope to hear from her when she restarts doing face to face tuition.

Very personable and patient and she creates a great flow and atmosphere in lessons, taking time to explain grammar points and word meanings but also providing many opportunities to talk. My French was extremely rusty having not used it for many years. I was looking for a refresher course with a native speaker as my job entails working with many French people and it is somewhat embarrassing to expect them to speak English all the time. Laurence quickly assessed my capability and pitches the the lessons perfectly to my needs. My pronunciation has improved massively (according to my French colleagues) as well as my vocabulary and I feel much more confident in speaking the language thanks to Laurence's encouraging approach. Laurence is clearly a very experienced teacher with extensive knowledge of French language and culture and her sense of humour also makes the lessons great fun. I have been inspired to pursue my studies further and would highly recommend Laurence as a tutor to anyone looking to improve their French language skills.
