Gemma's feedback about Maisie (Beginner Oboe tuition near Greenwich)
Maisie has been teaching my 10 year old daughter for a couple of weeks so far. my daughter wanted to feedback to say “Maisie is really nice, patient and caring.” My daughter has learnt a lot in the short time she has been having lessons. She has been really flexible which was great when we were getting set up with the oboe.
Jason's feedback about Reyan (Beginner Cello tuition near Greenwich)
Reyan is very nice and so has done a great job so far.
Iyad's feedback about George (Expert Piano tuition near Greenwich)
I’ve been having lessons with George for around 6 months and would highly recommend him. I first contacted him after taking a long hiatus from piano playing and needed some motivation and guidance. I had completed my grade 8 and BA in Music about a decade earlier and hadn’t really focused much on progress since then. George has been incredibly helpful in getting back into piano playing. Our lessons are varied depending on what I need help with - some lessons are deep dives into technical aspects like fingering, hand positioning, and pedal technique, and others are about understanding patterns in the music and concentrating on playing more musically. He is a passionate teacher and easy to learn from.
Laura's feedback about Roxanna (Beginner Cello tuition near Greenwich)
Very thoughtful and talented teacher. She is very skilled and we could see improvements from day one. Very caring and captivating to my child. We are grateful to have found her.
Lola's feedback about Enrique (Advanced Violin tuition near Greenwich)
Enrique is quite a gem. We were lucky to have found him as we had a short space of time to learn key grade songs. Really patient with my 11 year old and an extremely skilful and knowledgable violin player. Would absolutely recommend.
Iain's feedback about Elizabeth (Beginner Violin tuition near Greenwich)
Elizabeth has been an excellent teacher, my daughter enjoys her violin lessons and is making good progress. Elizabeth has a strong background in both performance and music theory which has been demonstrated through her teaching and her approach is friendly and supportive.
Jeanie's feedback about Marat (Intermediate Piano tuition near Greenwich)
Marat is a passionate teacher who strikes a good balance between improving your piano techniques and also developing your musicality. I would definitely recommend him. Marat is a quick and observant teacher. He was able to accurately access my piano skills and overall musical abilities within several lessons and recommends appropriate pieces to start with. He has a knack for pinpointing my weaknesses and suggests effectively practices accordingly. He is also very open-minded to what I hope to achieve with these lessons and then adjusts his teaching plan to help me progress towards my goals steadily. That said, Marat is not the kind of teachers who let you play whatever you want willy-nilly, he surely adheres to his teaching philosophy which emphasises fostering all aspects, including techniques, aural skills, music theory and imagination that make a proper musician. I had plenty of piano lessons as a kid but unfortunately with some awful, soulless teachers. They never left me feeling more than just a mindless piano exam taking robot who would evaporate without a piano score. After studying with Marat for 6 months, the way I ‘feel’ when I play the piano have become more interesting and joyous: I hear more things when I play, I am not utterly useless without a score, I can more readily see connections between different musical ideas and the things that I am playing. I credit this to Marat’s teaching. Finally, Marat is truly passionate about music and teaching. He is always happy to listen to your questions and give thoughtful answers. His famous saying is “I can spend hours talking about [a topic]”. Having lessons with him feels like going through a musical journey.
Meihua's feedback about Alexander (Beginner Piano tuition near Greenwich)
Alex is very patient with children and friendly.
Konstantin's feedback about Kristin (Beginner Guitar tuition near Greenwich)
Kristin is a great guitar teacher. She is fun and easy going, but constantly challenges me with new things. Perfect fit for me as a beginner.
Lisa's feedback about Luciana (Beginner Clarinet tuition near Greenwich)
Wonderful teacher, I love my classes with Luciana! She is full of ideas, flexible, and she is capable of adjusting her suggestions to meet a student's interests. Beyond this, she is also a very pleasant person and I am delighted to have her as my tutor.
