Jun is patient, kind and encouraging, but still helps you go just a bit outside of your comfort zone where the most improvement takes place. I think it's hard to strike this balance between having high expectations but it not being in a discouraging or scary way - so I really appreciate how well he does this. Explanations are clear and engaging - the focus on speaking is really helpful, even if a lil stressful at times for my perfectionist tendencies haha. But Jun is very encouraging and never makes me feel embarrassed for making mistakes. The resources he has created are also amazing and his experience is evident in the way he adjusts himself in each class and approaches the language. For me I chose to go for a tutor rather than a class to better have that responsiveness and go at the pace that works for me - and Jun just absolutely nails this. Having ADHD this is especially important for me, because my attention wanders easily and I can struggle to do things consistently so some of my education experiences in the past have not worked out so well. Not at all an issue with Jun's classes, the time just disappears! I have been working with Jun for 5 months learning Korean and have made more progress than I thought possible. He has been super encouraging and allowed me to progress at my own pace, while also setting clear expectations of what is required for each lesson. I've really struggled with language learning in the past and have found it useful that Jun is able to explain the mechanics of different sounds and get me more comfortable using and manipulating my voice - this has also had unexpected benefits in other parts of my life such as public speaking. He is super responsive and flexible which I have also appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!

As someone who completed a few academic degrees in different fields, learned another language as well, and learned with a few different English teachers since I arrived in the UK, I can say with certainty that I find Sarah as the best teacher I’ve ever had. This manifests itself in every possible aspect of teaching. Sarah explains things perfectly. She is very attentive and patient. She’s able to adjust herself to the student’s way of thinking and to understand in a very precise manner what the student didn’t understand. She’s very sharp and focused, she keeps track of the student’s process of learning and reacts perfectly in each moment of the lesson. She estimates the English level of the student in an accurate manner, and provides the student exactly with the materials that suit her/his level of English. Moreover, she’s extremely professional, she is fully devoted to her work and gives much more to her work than any other teacher I’ve ever had. Furthermore, she’s genuinely a very kind, nice, honest and reliable person, you feel that you’re in good hands, that you have a teacher that is not only a professional but also really cares about your success. Moreover, she can build the student’s confidence in her/his English skills in a manner that has a great influence on the language capabilities per se, and last but not least, the lessons are really fun, she uses materials and methods and presents things in manners that make it a very enjoyable activity. I really like the lessons and looking forward to them every week, and my English has improved in an unprecedented manner since I’ve started to learn with Sarah. Highly recommended!.

I have now had four lessons with Chiraphon (Aom), and I can say I am thoroughly enjoying them. I think Aom is a good teacher, setting a good pace adding new vocabulary to make it interesting, but not too much that I feel I’m drowning. Using Skype video provides a good level of interaction and the sound quality is perfect allowing me to hear the different tones.
