Tutoring Experience:

I have taught students ranged from complete beginners to advanced players, with the youngest student aged 4 and the most mature students aged 52. Besides being experienced in one-to-one private coaching, I am also experienced in teaching students in groups, from a small class of 3 students to a class of 10 students. I have been teaching instrumental classes in various high schools. Some of my students have taken the ABRSM Graded exams and received excellent result with distinctions. In addition, I have been invited to coach for various music events, for example, schools’ concerts and Christmas performances.

Tutoring Approach:

I strike a good balance between fundamental technique and repertoire. This is to ensure my students can play technically and musically well. Also, I aim to train my students with good musical theory and aural skills in order to provide a comprehensive music education.

I am happy to teach students at all levels and will tailor my classes to suit the needs of my students, to strengthen their weakness, to develop their strength and to maximize the potentials.
