Hi there, my name is Rachel. I am a cello and music theory tutor.

Having completed my Masters and Bachelors at high-profile conservatoires, rest assured you are in safe hands. I welcome all ages and standards, from complete beginners upwards.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a personable and patient teacher with many years of experience, previously holding tutoring posts in both Manchester and London-based music schools. My lessons are productive and fun, encouraging my students to develop their skills with a focus on musicality and technique. My students consistently achieve a high standard of playing, helped along the way by taking ABRSM exams.

Tutoring Approach:

I firmly hold the belief that everyone should have access to good-quality, enjoyable music tuition, whether you're wanting to progress through grades or simply looking for a new hobby.

I prefer to teach in my large teaching area at home, with plenty of chairs for parents to watch should you wish. I encourage regular weekly lessons.
