Emilia's feedback about Rachel (Intermediate Cello tuition near City of London)
Rachel is such a great tutor and I’m so happy that i finally meet a perfect tutor for my cello learning. My motivation to practice increased largely after I’ve taken a few lessons with her. She has guided me to do some scales that I thought I wouldn’t be able to play but now I can! She’s such a magician and I love her teaching strategies, they are always so helpful!
Peter's feedback about Ike (Beginner Double Bass tuition near City of London)
Early days. But Ike put me at my ease from the start. As a 75y/o, who started the double bass at music school less than six months ago, I have some bad habits. We are working through them systematically. Fingers now better placed……
Robert's feedback about Marat (Intermediate Piano tuition near City of London)
I am an adult learner who started piano lessons in my early 40s and got to roughly Grade 6 with my previous teachers. I have recently decided to try lessons with Marat as it it is important for me that my piano teacher has all-rounded musical approach. From my first lesson I felt that he was delivering on his promise. He is a patient and thorough teacher who does not let me move on until he is satisfied my technique is appropriate. It was hard for me at the beginning as he quickly recognised that I needed to correct some weaknesses in my fundamental technique. Marat firmly, but extremely politely, got me to take a step back and at the same time provided expert support which I found caring and focused. My previous teachers would have said: “you are skipping notes with your 4th finger”. Marat does not state the obvious, he actually shows you how to effectively improve. Almost immediately I started to feel a difference in the way I was playing thanks to his attention, interest and ability to recognise quickly which aspects of my playing needed work. I love Marat’s insistence on musical delivery and phrase shaping; something that makes my piano practice even more enjoyable. In terms of practicalities during the lesson, I really value the fact that he sits by my side and actually plays or sings parts of the music that are more challenging. Finally, Marat is a genuine lover of music and this comes across in every lesson making the learning an absolute delight! If you want your piano to respond with beautiful sound when you play (not a tasteless sequence of notes played back to you) you should definitely try Marat.
Brigita's feedback about Marat (Beginner Piano tuition near City of London)
I’m an adult who returned to playing after 10+ years break. Marat quickly identified my level and areas for improvement. I’ve had four classes and I already notice improvements in my technique and confidence.
Irina's feedback about Marat (Beginner Piano tuition near City of London)
Marat is an absolutely excellent teacher and a great human! I have started piano (my first instrument) from scratch with Marat and he has been excellent at not only teaching me the technical elements, but also made an effort on making me understand the logic behind music. I find his approach extremely beneficial especially for beginners because Marat takes an extra step to ensure that the experience is not about remembering, but about understanding. This leads to accelerated and much more enjoyable learning process. Marat is also very accommodative and helpful when you have any questions at all. And of course, Marat is an incredibly talented and ambitious pianist and can tell you a lot about music! All in all, I feel extremely lucky Marat popped up on **E-mail Address Removed**search for a piano teacher a few months ago! Would recommend to a friend :)
Simon's feedback about Sarah (Casual Singing tuition near City of London)
Sarah gave me some really good tips as an entry level singer especially on breathing, vocal exercises and connecting with the song. She helped me with my confidence as someone who wouldn’t usually sing in public. Highly recommended!
Cristina's feedback about Juan (Beginner Bass Guitar tuition near City of London)
Amazing! Friendly, very patient, and everything very well explained, I would definitely recommend it!
Lana's feedback about Marie (Intermediate Violin tuition near City of London)
I've only had a few lessons with Marie but am already thrilled with her as a teacher. Unlike other teachers I've had, Marie strikes a perfect balance of strict attention to detail and quality, maximising the productivity of each lesson, and creating a relaxed, flexible and encouraging environment that leaves you enthused to practice in between lessons, rather than feeling obligated to practice. She has already suggested effective exercises and solutions for issues that my other teachers struggled with, partly due to her appreciation of a student's individual characteristics and difficulties - rather than always imposing a single "correct" approach for everyone. Having tried 5 other violin teachers over the years, I would highly recommend Marie to anyone.
Alberto's feedback about Marie (Intermediate Violin tuition near City of London)
Marie is a wonderful teacher. She is kind, fun, patient and tremendously skilled. She pays constant attention to details and helps her students to improve their skills with a wide repertoire of technique exercises. I played the violin for a few years when I was a child. Marie is constantly surprising me with tricks and concepts I should have already known. I'm having a great time with her and I'm learning a lot.
Jungyoon's feedback about Sohyun (Beginner Piano tuition near City of London)
Sohyun has been brilliant getting my daughter started on the Piano. She keeps the lessons very fun and my child is always excited about her weekly lessons. Sohyun gives clear communication at the end of each lesson about how I can gently keep my child going during the week, with lots of helpful tips.
