Barbara's feedback about Leo (Intermediate Piano tuition near Pulborough)
Leo is very knowledgeable and passionate about music. He is an excellent teacher and is helping me to gain more understanding about jazz theory while I work with him on improvisation and playing by ear. The jazz syllabus we are looking at is very different to classical piano grades which I have taken previously and Leo is helping me make connections while making each lesson enjoyable. I would highly recommend him as a teacher.
Mhairi's feedback about Anna (Intermediate Piano tuition near Montrose)
Very approachable and helpful. Very professional and competent. Very good structure to the lessons
Andy's feedback about Diane (Intermediate Piano tuition near Ilkeston)
I'm only three lessons in with Diane, which we both agree isn't enough to make meaningful strides. What I can say however is that her method of teaching is one I enjoy greatly. Rather than teach you how to play songs, she instead focuses on building a strong foundation of techniques and form that will allow you to create your own music. I'm looking forward to continuing my lessons and have no doubt Diane can help me get where I want to on my piano journey.
Dhanuja's feedback about Dainora (Intermediate Piano tuition near Kingston upon Thames)
Dainora is a fantastic teacher. She is good at engaging the kids in the lessons and I have already seen significant progress.
Zhaoxia's feedback about Yu-Chen (Intermediate Piano tuition near Leighton Buzzard)
Rebecca is adaptive, professional and approachable. Both of my boys enjoy her lessons.
Steven's feedback about Stella (Intermediate Piano tuition near Sedbergh)
I'm really pleased I finally managed to find Stella. She is obviously a very knowledgeable and experienced Piano teacher for adult learners and the lessons so far have all been hugely beneficial. She is particularly good at finding what it is I need to work on next, stage by stage and making me stick to the lesson focus. I find her note taking especially useful to refer back to during my weekly practice sessions as the lesson time tends to fly by. I wanted someone with the confidence to strip back my errors of technique and built a robust and forward looking methodology. I've only had 5 lessons so far and already my technique has improved immeasurably which fills me with great confidence that I will continue to improve at a good rate. The working environment of the piano room and location are also both first rate. Overall, I find Stella totally professional, very friendly and above all hugely supportive. So far, I would say that I am delighted.
Andrea's feedback about Naho (Intermediate Piano tuition near Glasgow)
Naho was prompt and helpful in her communication, and my 14 year old daughter is now really enjoying regular lessons. Naho is very responsive to the pupil's particular interests and aims, and focuses clearly on how best to work with the person. She is encouraging, kind and enthusiastic, and very quickly picks up where things can improve. Overall, I think her teaching style is engaging and effective. Really pleased to have found Naho!
Carolyn's feedback about Catriona (Intermediate Piano tuition near Dunfermline)
I would highly recommend Catriona as a music tutor. I had not touched the piano in 45 years but wanted to start playing again. Catriona was very encouraging and built up my confidence very gently. She has a calm manner that enabled me to believe I could play again. Within a week I was playing both hands to a full piece of music Brilliant!!!
Jeanie's feedback about Marat (Intermediate Piano tuition near Greenwich)
Marat is a passionate teacher who strikes a good balance between improving your piano techniques and also developing your musicality. I would definitely recommend him. Marat is a quick and observant teacher. He was able to accurately access my piano skills and overall musical abilities within several lessons and recommends appropriate pieces to start with. He has a knack for pinpointing my weaknesses and suggests effectively practices accordingly. He is also very open-minded to what I hope to achieve with these lessons and then adjusts his teaching plan to help me progress towards my goals steadily. That said, Marat is not the kind of teachers who let you play whatever you want willy-nilly, he surely adheres to his teaching philosophy which emphasises fostering all aspects, including techniques, aural skills, music theory and imagination that make a proper musician. I had plenty of piano lessons as a kid but unfortunately with some awful, soulless teachers. They never left me feeling more than just a mindless piano exam taking robot who would evaporate without a piano score. After studying with Marat for 6 months, the way I ‘feel’ when I play the piano have become more interesting and joyous: I hear more things when I play, I am not utterly useless without a score, I can more readily see connections between different musical ideas and the things that I am playing. I credit this to Marat’s teaching. Finally, Marat is truly passionate about music and teaching. He is always happy to listen to your questions and give thoughtful answers. His famous saying is “I can spend hours talking about [a topic]”. Having lessons with him feels like going through a musical journey.
Tiffany's feedback about Matyas (Intermediate Piano tuition near Acton)
