My 11 year old son had his 11th piano lesson with Jake today and he is thoroughly enjoying his lessons so far. It was my son's idea to start piano lessons this summer and I feel lucky to have found a great local piano teacher for him. He was very nervous at first but Jake's friendliness and patience put him at ease, as well as Jake's fun method of teaching. I am very happy with his progress so far, as he is clearly learning at a good speed with Jake's guidance and he is encouraged to ask questions and to stretch a little bit with a challenge or two in his lessons. Most importantly, I can see that my son is gaining a bit more confidence each week. He also told me that he appreciates and enjoys his music lessons at school more now, since taking up piano lessons. Jake is professional, always encouraging and brings a sort of calmness in his teaching. Thank you Jake!

I have been studying piano with Jacob for a month now. Jacob is amazing at tailoring his instruction to your musical level and interests. He listens to where you are and tries to keep your personal musical goals in mind in structuring lessons. He makes studying fun and exciting, much so that i cannot stop playing and practicing and i am always looking forward to our next lesson. Even though i was a complete beginner, after the third lesson i was able to read notes and play easy songs. I am extremely happy with his teaching and i would definitely recommend him.
