Meet some of our Cello Teachers
Becky's feedback about Philippa (Intermediate Cello tuition near Oxford)
I am finding Philippa to be an excellent cello teacher - I took up the cello as an adult and self-taught for a year before deciding to look for a teacher who could improve my technique. Philippa's feedback is constructive and clear, and my playing has greatly improved in just a few lessons. I greatly enjoy the variety of pieces we play and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Philippa to anyone who is looking for an engaged, enthusiastic, and understanding cello teacher.
Sarah's feedback about Roxanna (Beginner Cello tuition near Peckham)
Roxanna is an amazing tutor. I have had lessons with her for a few months now and I feel like I have already progressed a lot. She is very motivating, attentive, accommodating and patient. She is full of knowledge and will make everything easier for you. She is extremely passionate, and has recommended different videos to watch and music to listen to, even creating a playlist which has motivated me a lot. She was also very helpful to me when I first started and had lots of problems with my new cello. I highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning the cello.
Liu's feedback about Philippa (Beginner Cello tuition near Oxford)
As a beginner in learning Cello, I think Philippa is a great teacher. She is very kind and patient with me, and helps me to have more confident in learning the Cello. She is also a very organise and meticulous teacher, and I think that's very important for learning a musical instrument, especially for the beginners: she can quickly finds out my mistakes and correct them and she will write a lesson note for me, and that helps me a lot when I practise alone at home. Awesome!
Laura's feedback about Sophie (Beginner Cello tuition near Buxton)
I really enjoyed my first lesson and I can’t wait to go back!
Amanda's feedback about Christian (Beginner Cello tuition near Hillsborough)
Christian is a very patient fella with a positive manner which has been really helpful in getting me back to the level I had achieved before taking a break… I have found him to be an excellent teacher where I am not an easy student and could definitely recommend him to anyone wishing to learn and enjoy cello. He has been flexible, accommodating and encouraging and I hope to continue lessons with him.
Louisa-Jane's feedback about Isabel (Beginner Cello tuition near Cleckheaton)
I’ve only had my introductory with Isabel but I’m already inspired to take my cello adventure as far as possible. Can not recommend highly enough!
Mohammed's feedback about Lucy (Intermediate Cello tuition near Lewisham)
Lucy is a great teacher for my son who is learning cello and is currently around Grade 3. He had been learning before but was demotivated and had stopped playing. Under Lucy's tutelage his interest has picked up again and he is now looking forward to his lessons. Lucy is very patient with him and encourages him while also teaching him some of the theory behind the music. Although at an early stage we are very pleased with the way that lessons are going - Lucy seems to be an excellent teacher.
Paul John's feedback about Tamara (Beginner Cello tuition near Haringey)
Tamara is so patient, encouraging and most of all a lovely person. It's a joy to learn the cello with her!
Kaiwen's feedback about Roxanna (Beginner Cello tuition near Newham)
Roxanna has taught my son and she is now teaching me to play the Cello. She pays attention to details and I particularly like the fact that mistakes are pointed out and corrected on the spot. I am confident that with Roxanna's help I will hit my target of being able to play Bach suite No. 1 within a year!
Mark's feedback about Talulah (Expert Cello tuition near Harrow)
Very positive, friendly approach to teaching. Good focus on technical form. My son is at ease being taught by Talulah.
