Mary's feedback about Aaron (Beginner Cello tuition near Bristol)
Booked on behalf of my sister - only one lesson so far but it went very well. Aaron was very efficient at getting back in touch to arrange the first lesson, and gave good advice on preparation and getting an instrument. He is very encouraging to a novice player - my sister is looking forward to the next lesson.
Sam's feedback about Anna (Beginner Cello tuition near Henley-on-Thames)
Anna is brilliant! Warm, engaging, and focused. As a fellow musician (with a music degree from Cambridge), I've been impressed with Anna's teaching and the progress my daughter is making under her care. Thank you Anna!
Victoria's feedback about Ann (Beginner Cello tuition near Chatteris)
Ann is patient, kind and explains things well. My daughter really enjoys her Cello lessons and can’t wait to go each week.
Jane's feedback about Oliver (Beginner Cello tuition near Harlow)
As an adult learner of the cello, Oliver has been an amazing teacher for me. He is patient, pushes me on theory and technique and is reliable and accommodating. He is the perfect teacher for me and love how I have progressed to playing duets that are beginning to sound good!
Andrew's feedback about Timothy (Beginner Cello tuition near Paignton)
Tim is an excellent teacher. As a complete beginner to the cello I could not have wished for a better tutor. Tim’s teaching techniques coupled with his profound knowledge of the cello and understanding of what learners’ need makes him a highly effective teacher. His patient, relaxed but challenging approach makes learning with him a joy. I always look forward to my weekly lessons.
Ellie's feedback about Alistair (Beginner Cello tuition near City of London)
Alistair is a great cellist, friendly and knowledgable. I'm glad I found him through FirstTutors
Badar's feedback about Jo (Beginner Cello tuition near Gateshead)
Jo is an incredibly kind and patient teacher who makes every lesson feel relaxed and encouraging. She gives you the space to take your time, which builds confidence and makes the learning process enjoyable rather than stressful. Her teaching style is clear, simple, and thoughtfully structured. She has a real gift for breaking down complex ideas into steps that feel natural and easy to understand. She listens, adapts to your pace, and makes sure you truly grasp each concept before moving on. Learning with her feels personal, supportive, and inspiring.
Michelle's feedback about Amy (Beginner Cello tuition near Saxmundham)
Amy is great to have as a tutor. I feel completely at ease and am able to learn at my pace. Amy is very patient.
Adrian's feedback about Andrew (Beginner Cello tuition near Shildon)
Great tutor, supportive and clear instruction
Natalie's feedback about Théa-Rose (Beginner Cello tuition near Lymington)
My son has been having lessons with Thea-Rose for six months now and it has been transformational compared to the teacher he had before. As a beginner, Thea had him using all four fingers at his first lesson and playing a variety of music! Thea and my son (who is eight) have a good rapport and his confidence has grown tremendously. She is very patient and also very encouraging. She is quietly ambitious for him and its great to see how much he has grown over the last few months. She also has variety of students of all ages and we sometimes bump into some who are much more experienced or just older beginners. I highly recommend her as a tutor.
