Although I have not personally met Elizabeth, my father has had a lesson with her and it was very successful. She is clearly able to encourage him with relearning the flute. He is quite frail and therefore struggles with harnessing enough breath, he realises it will take a lot of time to re-develop the muscles for embouchure, which is frustrating but I think he will persevere despite finding practice quite tiring. I hope he will have another lesson with Elizabeth soon as I'm sure she can suggest ways to make the practice easier and progress quicker. Thank you Elizabeth and I hope I will meet you in the not too distant future. Antonia

Amy is a fantastic flute teacher for my teenage daughter and we’re so glad we found her. Not only is Amy a superb teacher of the flute but also of music theory. Amy uses a variety of methods and multimedia to keep the lessons interesting and to suit different learning styles. She’s also a great communicator and has greatly improved my daughter’s confidence and flute playing. I would definitely recommend Amy to anyone looking for a tutor who is highly skilled, enthusiastic and passionate about music.
