Sook's feedback about Bree (GCSE English tuition near Salford)
Where to begin? I am delighted to say Bree has been an outstanding tutor to my daughter who was feeling deflated after her mock exams last year. We discovered this absolute gem of a woman through a friend of ours whose daughter had tuition for resits in English and Math (scored 2 As) and has now gone onto study at UCL. She told us that the skills she learned from Bree have proven vital for her studies in further education. This was more than enough to convince me. On meeting Bree, we saw how confident and dedicated she is to offering the highest quality lessons, and making sure our daughter was aware that she will have guaranteed results but needs to work hard to achieve more than a B in her subjects. She is empathetic and asked my daughter exactly how she felt about her mock exams and wasted no time in diving straight into the first topic. After the initial session, she gave me detailed feedback and told me exactly what the issue was, and why my daughter was not achieving her potential. Bree has given my daughter invaluable material that she has created along with material from examiner’s conferences that show exactly how examiners mark each question. This helped my daughter to see exactly what was necessary to achieve top marks. Overall, under Bree’s tutelage, I have seen my daughter blossom academically, she has learned to become more independent with her studies and is more confident as a learner. Bree has inspired in her a passion and enjoyment for education. She has changed from a child who needed a drill sergeant to get her to just glance at a textbook from 50 paces, to a highly disciplined child, who has to be dragged from her books at 10:00 pm in order to get her to bed at a sensible hour. Her school bag was once a chaotic mess, now she has all of her material organised into separate folders and personalised progression charts and graphs made by Bree, so we can keep track of her homework and her scores. Every topic is covered in immense detail with regular homework and mock exams with varying difficulty to make sure my daughter is always being challenged. I can’t thank Bree enough; my daughter is now top of the class in the topics she has studied whilst having tuition, which completely exceeded my expectations. She has not missed one piece of homework since tuition commenced and I’m incredibly proud of her. She often tells me how she wishes Bree were her teacher at school. I don’t blame her, I wish we began tuition a lot earlier. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Simi's feedback about Matthew (University Medicine tuition near Salford)
Thank you so much for the trial session. The role play/history taking was useful, with additional hints about how to approach and 'get through' the OSCEs. Friendly, professional and understanding.
Jane's feedback about Kimberley (GCSE Maths tuition near Salford)
Kim is extremely professional and reliable. A fantastic tutor, patient, caring, kind and very knowledgeable. Kim helped my daughter, Beth, overcome her fear of maths and was able to explain and unravel all the topics she had previously struggled with. Thanks to Kim, Beth's confidence and understanding grew to the extent that she actually enjoyed maths and looked forward to taking her Maths GCSE! I can't recommend kim highly enough! Kim deserves an A**
Farhat's feedback about Jacqueline (University Health / Social Care tuition near Salford)
Jacqueline is fantastic. I am thankful to first tutors because since I have started to see Jacqui my anxiety has lessened considerably due to Jacqui supporting me with writing my dissertation. Jacqui is patient, understanding, works at my pace, supports through encouragement, explains things in a very clear manner and has provided me with guidance and structure. I would recommend Jacqui and first tutors to other people struggling with their studies.
Samantha's feedback about Ana (A-Level English tuition near Salford)
Ana tutored me in English Literature during the lead up to my a levels and within that time I saw both my confidence and ability grow significantly. I felt that Ana really listened to my issues and the things which I found difficult within the subject, and in response to this she would go through her own research on the novels that I was studying as well as getting me to formulate my own opinions on them. Ana also set me weekly essays which we would then go through together and I really enjoyed having discussions about the texts as it allowed me to solidify my thoughts about them which helped a lot with my confidence in the exams. Overall I now feel much more confident in my style of essay writing as well as having a deeper understanding of the texts and a more perceptive critical eye when reading. I would definitely recommend Ana to anyone looking for a tutor as she is super friendly and interesting and she has a great way of both educating as well as enthusing!
Muhammad's feedback about Seyed Mansoor (A-Level Physics tuition near Salford)
Great teacher, makes the subject seem less complicated, is friendly, guiding, and all other positive characteristics you can think of. The explanations about physics were both thorough and clear and i now have a much better understanding of the subject. He also took time to find me past paper questions which saved me a lot of time and it goes to show how much he cares about his students. I would highly recommend anyone who needs help with physics to approach him.
Stephanie's feedback about Jack (GCSE Chemistry tuition near Salford)
Jack tutored my son initially in chemistry on the run up to his GCSE’s. My son found the sessions of great help and prior to each lesson Jack would ask what topics we wanted him to cover. Jack also gave assistance with regards to physics and biology. Could not recommend him highly enough as a tutor.
Maryanne's feedback about Monika (A-Level Maths tuition near Salford)
So far my son has only had 2 lessons but I have already seen an improvement with his A level maths. I am more than happy with Monika and how she has helped my son.
