I have now enjoyed three lessons with Simone. He is a friendly, patient and knowledgeable bass guitar teacher. I am a self-taught bass player and would describe myself as an advanced beginner / low intermediate player. I recognised the need for face to face lessons with a qualified tutor to enable me to progress and to break out of the plateau I had reached. Simone introduced me to some new ideas, shapes and practice from the first lesson and I have noticed and felt a real change in my ability across the past few weeks already. Our lessons are relaxed, enjoyable and always challenging as Simone has a strategy to help me take my playing to the next level. He always keeps his word and sends me charts and short video demo clips to help me to practice effectively between lessons. Would definitely recommend Simone to others looking for a bass / guitar tutor.

I came across Peter when I was looking for a local bass tutor. I’ve been playing on and off for most of my life but always get stuck in a rut with practice. I needed someone to point me in the right direction with a practice regime. I’ve had a few tutors over the years but simply being a good player or a guitarist who plays a bit of bass doesn’t necessarily translate into being a good teacher. Peter is a teacher by profession and it really shows in the way he approaches teaching the bass. He will take the time to listen to what you want and then structure your lessons accordingly using printed course material. Highly recommended whether you’re a beginner or intermediate player.
