She is always happy to answer any questions, giving both cultural context and understanding key language and cultural differences between England and China - which, as a beginner, is more relevant than you might think! Jun has provided me with a thorough grounding in speaking Mandarin and writing Chinese characters, starting from scratch. We have weekly lessons at a fixed time, however, she is flexible when I cannot make it, even on short notice, which I greatly appreciate. We are currently aiming for me to acquire the HSK 1 qualification and are making good and steady progress towards doing so.

Liwen is an excellent teacher 1-1 and really takes the time to ensure you understand the key points, and not just go through the motions of a language lessons.
