I am an accomplished researcher and educator who completed my postdoctoral research and earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University in 2020. My academic journey includes an Erasmus Mundus Master's degree obtained from KU Leuven in Belgium, Universidade do Minho in Portugal, and the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. Prior to this, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UET Lahore, Pakistan.
With expertise in Mechanical Engineering, I am deeply committed to contributing to the academic advancement of Mechanical Engineering. Having a strong foundation in both research and teaching, I am enthusiastic about the prospect of engaging with students, fostering meaningful discussions, and creating a dynamic learning environment.
I look forward to the opportunity to share my insights and contribute to the academic growth of students in the field.
With over 13 years of extensive teaching experience, I have held the positions of Associate Professor since 2022, Assistant Professor from 2012 to 2022, and Lecturer from 2009 to 2012 at the esteemed University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistan—a renowned public sector institution. My dedication to education extends beyond traditional classrooms, as I have been actively involved in tutoring one-to-one and small groups since 2005.
Moreover, I have a robust background in teaching, having engaged with students through this platform since 2016. This experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of effective online pedagogy, enabling me to deliver high-quality education remotely.
My commitment to academic excellence, coupled with my extensive teaching background, positions me as a seasoned educator ready to contribute meaningfully to the learning and development of students.
I firmly believe in the inherent talent within every student, a potential waiting to be harnessed through effective utilisation of time and resources. My teaching philosophy centres around outcome-based learning, fostering an environment that empowers students to explore and discover solutions autonomously. Through providing comprehensive guidance, I aim to instil in them not just knowledge but also the skills and confidence necessary to navigate their academic journey successfully. This pedagogical approach not only ensures a mastery of the subject matter but also cultivates a sense of self-assurance and accomplishment, preparing students to excel in their chosen field with utmost confidence and esteem
