I have been learning with Karen for eighteen months now. She is a patient, helpful teacher and lessons are friendly and relaxed. She will help you towards exams or just for fun. I have passed clarinet grade 3 and 4 since I began lessons with Karen. Karen will assist you with the aural and theory as well as the practical. She is always supportive and encouraging. Lessons are fun and very reasonable prices.

My daughter has just started learning Clarinet with Charlotte, and she seems happy and enjoys her lessons. She has also showed some improvement. As a parent, I found Charlotte’s note is really encouraging, helpful with some clear instruction for practice. Charlotte even recorded their duet and sent to me, which was a lovely surprise, and we all enjoyed it. I really enjoyed my lesson. You gave me a chance to see what I was still capable off after not having played for some time and I really liked how you pointed out what my strong points where but also noticing which sides need improving. Practicing smaller parts several times again and again is the best way to learn for me in general and that was the technic you used for me to practice parts of the pieces that were difficult for me to grasp. Looking forward to my next lesson!!!!
