Personal Description:
I am a professional musician, performer, and music teacher. I have experience rehearsing and performing with many different bands and orchestras, and have performed in the UK, France, Germany, Poland and Norway.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been providing music tuition since 2014. My students have included both adults and children, with an age range of 4 to over 50 years old. I have taught from my own teaching space, travelled to the homes of students, and also visited several schools where I have provided individual, small group, and full class musical instrument tuition.
Tutoring Approach:
I tailor my music lessons to the individual needs of each student. I understand that some people would like to take graded exams throughout their studying, whilst others might just want to learn to play a couple of their favourite songs. Both of them are completely acceptable, and whilst I believe that exams can be a very useful way to provide goals and to monitor your progress, I do not put any pressure on my students to do them. Lessons are for the student after all, and I always try to provide exactly what they are looking for.
