Perfect introduction for both my son and us (non-musical family). Alan arranged for my son to try a couple of instruments and was even able to leave the preferred trombone with us. Alan really knows how to break down instructions and is very patient; my son is really enjoying exploring the trombone. Alan was also incredibly flexible given I completely fluffed finalising final arrangements for trial lesson and was able to fit us in anyway. Thanks so much Alan!

Austin is a brilliant and agile teacher, I say agile as he is reflexive to his students needs. He picked up on what I like musically and takes a genuine interest in this in order to integrate it into teaching, which makes the lessons slightly more personable and engaging. As such, he teaches a dynamic programme that is varied: never stale, always nourishing. I have made leaps and bounds over the last few months, not only in my playing but also in my understanding of music, which too is crucial. I look forward to continuing my learning. Can't recommend enough… (also he can visit you which is a major bonus schedule wise)!
