Information About Lauraine - Swindon teacher - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Lauraine:
My musical interest started at the age of 15 when I took up the cornet and joined our school band. After leaving school I joined the Army as a musician and did this until I married and started a family.
Since learning to play, music has always been a huge part of my life. I currently play in a variety of ensembles, and freelance as a trumpet/flugelhorn player.
In between family commitments I worked as a pharmaceutical sales rep, and left this employment after almost 20 years to become a music teacher.
I have worked with Swindon Music Cooperative for the last 2 years, and for about 18 months as a tutor at Malmesbury Music Academy. I also teach privately, and currently tutor both larger groups and individuals.
I teach most brass instruments, and can offer trombone up to about grade 5.
I have a flexible approach to music tuition, depending on what your requirements are, and what you would like to achieve. If you want to take exams and work through the grades, I can help with this. I am also happy to take a no pressure approach.
Above all, I believe that learning to play a musical instrument should be an enjoyable experience.
