Personal Description:
I have been a Senior Lecturer in Higher Education for over 15 years. I am also an experienced IT consultant and still active in industry. I am passionate about teaching and sharing the knowledge that I have gained through experience, research and consultancy.
I am a fully qualified teacher with a PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. I also hold a BA Hons (1st Class) Business with E-commerce and MSc (Distinction) Business Information Technology.
I am experienced in teaching a range of business related subjects, including:

Prior to teaching I have worked in roles including Web Developer, IT Analyst, IT Manager. I have worked in both the public and private sectors in the UK and continue to do consultancy with international businesses.
Training Experience:
Senior Lecturer in Business (2008 to present) - Teaching business related subjects on courses at Level 3 (Foundation), Level 4-6 (Undergraduate) and Level 7 (Masters).
I have supervised a diverse range of dissertations and projects the relate to business.
I have undertaken private tuition since 2013, working with leaners to help them achieve their academic goals.
Training Approach:
I provide online tuition using Skype / Zoom / Microsoft Teams. You will also get access to an online Virtual Learning Environment where you can access relevant teaching resources. Resources include links to relevant articles, videos, and activities. For those seeking support with assignments, there is a facility for you to upload your work for feedback so that you can improve it before you submit it to your College or University.
During your first session we will agree on your learning objectives and decide on subject areas you want to cover. Each session is paid for individually and so there is no need to block book, you can choose as many sessions as you wish.
I enjoy working with a range of students with diverse learning requirements. I am very patient and will take the time to understand the areas where you need the most guidance and will provide you with support and encouragement during your learning journey.
