I learnt my leadership skills firstly through 20 weeks hard graft at the Royal Air Force's Leadership College and have refined them ever since, with an MSc in leadership and membership of the Institute of Leadership & Management. I have practised and refined these skills throughout my career, and have developed the the potential of many junior officers and airmen under my command. I have also taken these skills into business as the CEO of a million pound business. Training Specialisms:

I will give you the skills you need to become a good leader, so that you stand out at your interview, and succeed in your job. My training will include:
Leadership: I'll provide you with an understanding of leadership styles, how leadership differs from management, and how to achieve the key skills and tools you will need to become an effective leader.
Coaching: An introduction to coaching and how it can help you and your staff to achieve their potential, including adopting a coaching approach as a leadership style.
Planning: Fundamentals of planning - based on the well-proven military approach, how to create an effective and achievable plans and how to mange them. This will include the fundamental of Project Management
Communications & Personal skills: Confident and effective public speaking, presentations and good written skills are essential and we will cover this as well. We will also look at include self-image awareness (what to wear & how to wear it!).
Appraisals: How to write and deliver appraisals, and how to develop staff potential through training and development.
This list is not exhaustive and mentoring can be tailored to your needs and experience. School, college and university teaches you the theory and technical skills; this training will help you develop as a complete individual, ready to lead a team effectivley and confidently.

Training Methods:

This could be one-to-one or group coaching or with a blend of presentation, discussion, and practical exercises. The scope of the tutorials would be agreed with the tutee in order to meet their individual needs; delivery would also be tailored to the tutees own work rate, and consist of a range of agreed objectives to be covered, with continuous progress checks. Each tutorial will build upon the previous lesson with a check of understanding to ensure that the subject matter has been absorbed. Whilst there would normally not be any set homework tutees would be required to undertake some preparatory reading or study, however, where agreed with the tutee, additional out-of-class work can be set in order to achieve a higher and deeper understanding.
