Personal Description:

Combined Honours degree in Computing and Electronics. 17 years, mostly as a manager or consultant, in blue chip multi-nationals. 5 years as a freelance IT lecturer. Founder and operator of several successful business. Qualified (double distinction) life coach with eight years in practice, including training of other coaches. Five years as a private tutor. Five years as a magistrate. Also training consultant for a national charity serving the care sector.

Training Specialisms:

In corporate life I mostly managed software engineering and customer service organisations. I know a lot about
making change happen - designing strategy and managing its practical implementation. Also about building and maintaining effective organisations of happy people - that's meritocracies, people management, process engineering etc. Also managing large budgets, designing contracts and service level agreements. I am passionate about excellent customer service and well-practiced in its practical provision.

My experience as a manager is enhanced by my life coaching training and experience. I am currently in practice as a life and corporate coach, and I am a consulting trainer in the care sector.

Training Methods:

My approach is flexible. We are where we are, and should select an approach that's appropriate. But in general, I am irreverant - I challenge the status quo and accepted thinking - but always respectful. I am relaxed. I value honesty and frankness. Say it how you see it. I use humour to build rapport, and to provide an attractive, effective learning environment.
