Yuvy

Hi, my name is Yuvy and I am going into my third year of Medical School at UCL. I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels at Lancaster Royal Grammar School achieving 10 A*s at GCSE and 3 A*s and an A in my EPQ at A-Level. As well as my drive for academics, I am passionate about sport representing Lancashire and North of England for Cricket, Lancashire for Tennis and university hockey.

Tutoring Approach

I take a very interactive approach to the way I tutor ensuring clear communication with both students and parents alike. I like to work through questions and find out which revision techniques work better for each student as different people learn in different ways. This way, it allows me to tailor the structure of my lesson in a way that suits the requirements of the student and also allows me to teach certain techniques and tricks to answering different question types allowing them to apply them to exam scenarios. As well as content, I like to do regular assessment sessions giving both the student and their parents an idea of where they are at and a record of their progress.
