A warm welcome to students and parents!

I am a passionate teacher with more than 15 years of tutoring experience.

I truly enjoy the aha moments when students grasp the topics they were struggling to understand.

I obtained my postgraduate degree in mathematical optimisation in 2012 (Loughborough University), an undergraduate degree in electronic engineering in 2008 and passed my A Level with 3 A* (Maths, Physics and Chemistry).

I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2016.

Tutoring Experience

I am tutoring maths and physics for more than fifteen years and helped 100+ students to achieve their full potential in their education.

Most of my students are currently studying or graduated from the Top 10 Universities in the UK.

I started teaching maths as a hobby right after my A-level exams. I have received excellent feedback from students and parents saying that "Yoga is really good at understanding their problem (why they are making mistakes or couldn't understand) and then breakdown the problem into small chunks that can be easily understood or related by the students".

Now teaching, lecturing and transferring knowledge to empower the younger generation is my full-time job!

Tutoring Approach

I assess my tutee in the first two lessons to learn their strength and weakness.

I then prepare material which allows them to reinforce their understanding to learn a difficult topic. I gradually strengthen their knowledge and bring them to a higher level. I always love this journey, and I can guarantee success!

Moreover, I go through the past paper questions to build confidence.

I invest a lot of time to study the patterns of questions that come in exam papers every year. Based on this observation, I coach the students on topics that have a higher probability of being tested in the exams. This has been proven to be successful in the past.

I provide printed papers and regularly track the progress. In the beginning, I will go through topic questions and provide regular homework from past papers.
