Ever since age of 13 I have realized how important role a teacher plays in a person's life. I have been led by this belief and become what I am today. I taught English as a second language to Secondary School students in China for three years. Later I worked as interpreter for Chinese Medicine Doctors in the UK. In 2009, I started tutoring GCSE Mandarin.
In 2009, I became a Certified TDR Mandarin Teacher at Meridian Chinese Studies;
I also attended various Online Training Courses for language teachers;
I am willing to give the best to my students and see them grow---to become what they want to be. It is such a wonderful and fulfilling experience which I enjoy most.

As to adult learners, experience tells me that a solid foundation of Mandarin not only builds the confidence right start from Day1 but also speeds up their language development tremendously. These foundations include Phonetics, also called Pinyin, a tool to help Mandarin leaners pronounce a new word; The composition of Chinese characters, the logic behind those lines and curves which upon first look, they look dounting but after first lesson they will start to make sense to you. That is the major difference you will find by learning with me from others. I would also help them identify their strenghth and weakness during the learning process. Thirdly, you will gain the practical knowledge of what is happening in China, i.e. how to use mobile payment, including ordering take away with mobile payment, online ordering, booking hotel/airbnb/tickets etc; the functional difference between cities/areas.
