Helping students achieve exam success — and giving parents peace of mind

I am a Qualified teacher (QTS), specialist tutor and exam-readiness coach in French, Spanish, and Latin for GCSE and Common Entrance. I have a first-class degree from Oxford University and over twenty years' experience in education as a schoolteacher, consultant and private tutor. I’ve helped dozens of students achieve exam success and win places at prestigious UK schools like Harrow, Winchester, and Rugby. But more than that, I’ve helped students grow in confidence, learn how to learn, and take control of their own progress. I’m trained in safeguarding, and I hold an enhanced DBS check enrolled on the annual update scheme.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working as a private tutor since 2016, preparing students for examination at GCSE and Common Entrance (including scholarship at Harrow, Winchester, Rugby and Radley). My students regularly receive 8/9 at GCSE or achieve places at some of the UK's most prestigious private schools.

I have also worked with students experiencing significant confidence issues and been able to have an impact on their wider schoolwork with my interventions.

Previously, I taught French and Spanish in secondary schools up to International Baccalaureate (IB - A level equivalent) and worked as a consultant to the education sector.
