Qualified teacher (QTS) with a first-class degree from Oxford University, specialising in online Latin tuition for Common Entrance (13+) and preparation for GCSE Latin, GCSE French and GCSE Spanish. I am known for my patience, enthusiasm and getting results. I also hold a current DBS check.
I have been working as a private tutor since 2016. I have successfully tutored numerous students for GCSE and Common Entrance in that time. I have also worked with students experiencing significant confidence issues and been able to have an impact on their wider schoolwork with my interventions. I have also taught French and Spanish in secondary schools up to International Baccalaureate (IB - A level equivalent). I achieved the best results in the department for both GCSE and IB in my first year of teaching.
I believe patience and enjoyment are key to learning a language. I combine an enthusiastic attitude with considerable patience. I like to tailor my approach to each student's ability level and their learning style. I am experienced in training students for examinations and teach exam technique as well as content.
