I currently work as a Petroleum Engineer with Maersk Oil and Gas in Aberdeen. Prior to this, I worked as a Petroleum Engineer in Maersk Oil and Gas in Qatar. I graduated in 2007 with a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. During that year, I also worked part-time tutoring students GCSE and A-level Mathematics and also in Qatar.
My teaching experience began when I was studying for my GCSE's at Westminster College, London. I then carried this on right through my A-levels, Undergraduate level, Postgraduate level and during my professional career in Qatar where I taught primary school, secondary school, GCSE and A-level Mathematics.
Part of my tutoring GCSE and A-level Mathematics to students enabled me pay for my living expenses.
I believe every student is different and I draw my teaching skills and approach from their character, because what works for one person may not necessarily work for another person. What is important for me is making the students feel comfortable and having a good rapport with them. In this way, they will feel at ease and able to open up and ask questions. I deliver to my students with loads of patience.
