I hold a biomedical science degree and a PGCE from UCL IOE with experience working in a biology and chemistry lab. I am currently a teacher at an international school as well as previously working in an inner London school teaching science and medical science.
Previous to my teaching qualification, I worked as a teachering assistant to further support students with their subjects from year 7- year 13. I carried out interventions for pupils for core subjects such as English, maths and science. I am SEN specialist at my school and in charge of programmes such as Units of Sound targeting autism.
I am currently a fully qualified teacher of science with experience of AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR exam boards. I have taught at three schools and have worked with a diverse number of students.
I am currently undertaking my masters in science education to further my pedagogical knowledge as it is key to student success and teacher development.
I always encourage my students to express themselves with confidence with their struggles to make sure my support is being used to its fullest. I tailor my teaching approach to fit their needs as we all learn differently at different paces.
I like to have a respectful and trustworthy relationship with my students so we can build confidence in their knowledge. It will be our goal to make sure they achieve their best.
