I hold a biomedical science degree and currently a UCL post grad student with experience working in a biology and chemistry lab in Scotland. I now train as a teacher in London.
I worked as a teacher's assistant to further support students with their subjects from year 7- year 13. I carry out interventions for pupils for core subjects such as English, maths and science. I am SEN specialist at my school and in charge of programmes such as Units of Sound targeting autism. I also independently teach year 9 entry level science.
I always encourage my students to express themselves with confidence with their struggles to make sure my support is being used to its fullest. I tailor my teaching approach to fit their needs as we all learn differently at different paces.
I like to have a respectful and trustworthy relationship with my students so we can build confidence in their knowledge. It will be our goal to make sure they achieve their best.
