## Personal Description:

I am an experienced and friendly private maths / Science ( Physics) tutor with a proven track record of helping students reach their maximum potential for the KS3, GCSE and A-level exams. I have a Degree in Electronics & Computer Science and a Masters' degree in Applied Maths (Digital Signal and Image Processing). Both of my undergraduate and postgraduate studies included considerable amount of Maths and Physics studies which I still use in my teaching / tutoring. I worked for 4 years as a university lecturer, teaching Engineering Maths and Electronics / Electrical principles to engineering students. In addition, I have taught for more than 10 years in an Independent School (grammar school), teaching mainly Maths, Further Maths, Engineering Maths and Physics to a wide range of age groups KS3 ( year 7- year 9), GCSE, A-Levels and University foundation students).

## Tutoring Experience:

I have been a working as private tutor for more than 8 years, mainly in the evenings and weekends. I enjoy teaching on a one to one basis as this helps me to adapt my lessons to suit the student`s needs. I try to make my lessons interesting and enjoyable as much as possible.

## Tutoring Approach:

I first assess the student on his/her ability on Maths and discuss what he/she wants to achieve and set some achievable goals and follow a structure to improve Maths skills and perform well not only in the class room but also in the examinations. I do not have a magic wand to perform miracles. I work with the student to improve their grades by explaining the concept/ theory in a clear logical manner and motivate and encourage the student to perform well in maths. I encourage and motivate students by providing plenty of exam board specific resources. My students aiming for A* / A grades are expected to do some homework between lessons. There is no substitute for practicing maths questions and solving maths problems. There were occasions where students came with a specific request to perform well in the exam; I have helped them to improve their grades at the exam through rigorous revision techniques going through past exam questions.

*(GCSE Maths)*Visesh, we are now back can you contact us re whether or not you will need to meet Ellis prior to starting the tutoring.

He is not here next Wednesday.

We did provide details of when the lessons would best suit us if it was possible.

Regards.

**From Shelley ( /5):**

*(Secondary Maths)*Very happy with our choice of tutor. VJ is very patient and helpful.

**From Deborah ( /5):**

*(GCSE Maths)*An exceptional tutor, who has provided inspiration and confidence for our son studying for his Math GCSE. Always willing to spend that little extra time to ensure the learning points are made. A first-class tutor who I would recommend to anyone considering using Visesh in the future.

**From Carole ( /5):**

*(A-Level Maths)*Only had 2 lessons. Very friendly and accommodating, fitting in a few extra lessons at the last minute when pre exam panic set in was very appreciated. It may take a few more lessons to see if one on one tutoring is working, but so far results look promising as it has already helped with some homework issues.

**From Wala ( /5):**

**From Kelly ( /5):**

*(Secondary Maths)*Vishesh is clearly an experienced tutor and has not only helped to build my 13 year old son`s confidence but enabled him to understand & improve in a subject he was having difficulty with, making maths more enjoyable. I would recommend Visesh to other parents looking for a tutor for their child.

**From Michael ( /5):**

*(A-Level Maths)*The start time for the first session well past the due time but despite that my son felt comfortable with Visesh and felt that he understood quite quickly his needs. He was confident that future sessions would bring him up to speed.
