I am an active teacher currently teaching chemistry, physics and biology to GCSE and IGCSE syllabus. I am familiar with the IGCSE Edexcel, AQA, OCR syllabus. I worked at leading independent schools in London.
I enjoy working with pupils, enabling them to become confident science learners.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching science to KS4 for over 13 years and AS/A2 level Chemistry for 3 years. I worked in Sir William Perkins School, Chertsea. St. Nicolas School, Fleet. Notre Dame, Cobham. Latimer Upper, Hammersmith, Sir William perkins, leading Girls independent school in Chertsea.
I assess pupil's needs and prepare lessons to address their needs. We will complete exam papers on ongoing bases to practice exam and revision techniques.
In addition I worked for 4 years in the independent school environment. in addition I have 2 years experience of teaching at an independent preparatory school in preparation for 11+ and 13 + exams.

Tutoring Approach

I would like to prepare tutees to be confident in topics we go over.

As a teacher I prepare my lessons to meet the tutee demands by testing their basic knowledge of each topic to find out and patch up any missing links within the curriculum.
I have a pool of previous test papers and will be giving questions out of these at some point of each lesson a will give some as homework. We will practice exam and revision techniques.
