I am a highly successful specialist mathematics and statistics tutor from secondary to university with over 11 years experience with both UK and international students. My excellent mathematics career (Maths PhD and 1st in MMATH) provides the ideal backdrop for the most efficient teacher methods
for each student.
Tutoring Experience
I have over 11 years experience as a personal tutor include online teaching which has allowed me to provide my expertise to support students from UK, USA and India.
Previously I taught A level & UG maths, stats and mechanics courses, including for trainee maths teachers, at Queen's University Belfast (including Stranmillis University College where I received a rating of 98%.) .
Whilst completing my PhD in Maths I lead Undergraduate tutorials and taught foundation year courses at Sheffield International College
Tutoring Approach
Mathematics is a great passion of mine and I am continually fascinated by the surprising ways it underpins our understanding of both the universe and our daily lives. I especially using the knowledge and experience built up through my own studies (PhD & Masters) together with my array of teaching experience to create a uniquely student-centred approach to learning.
