My name is Tom and I am 23 years old. I have just graduated from the University of Nottingham as a doctor. During the 5 years I completed 2 degrees: Bachelor of medical sciences and a bachelor of medicine and surgery (BMBS). I am currently just about to start an MSc in ‘International Health Management’ at Imperial College Business School. At the start of my degree the thought of completing a medical degree appeared to be an impossible task; hard work has shown anything is possible. I gained 8 A*s and 3 As at GCSE and 2A*s and 1 A at A level (Maths, Chemistry, Biology), as well as getting A’s in DT and further maths as AS level.
Outside of work I believe having other hobbies is very important. I have taken rugby to a high level as well as rowing. I also enjoy music - at school I played the piano and violin, and at university I Dj'd!
Tutored students in years below me at university, as well as being a mentor for them. Previous experience tutoring for GCSE and A Level.
I believe I am very patient and a great listener, which will help me guide any tutees with any problems they have.
