History has been my passion since I was a child and I studied it at GCSE (A*), A Level (A) and University (2:1). I specialize in ancient and medieval history but have also studied a mixture of time periods all the way up until the Cold War and Arab-Israeli conflict. I will prepare materials for you based on the subject and based on exam guidelines if needed

English is something I am fluent in and I love to meet people who speak other languages and to help them improve their English

With business, I have been working in retail for almost 8 years and I am experienced in a mixture of subjects, from running an Amazon business, to online trading for websites to paid marketing. Currently, I head up paid marketing, seo and PR for the business I work for and I am up to date with current marketing practices

Tutoring Experience

I am quite new to tutoring. I have taught at schools in past, I used to volunteer at Tang Hall Primary School in York, teaching Spanish after school. But in terms of online tutoring, I am new to it, but I am in online 1 on 1 meetings through out the week and I have no concerns about being able to tutor in that way

Tutoring Approach

I am a patient and friendly tutor. I am happy to take things at whatever pace is preferred and to adapt my lessons and materials to different learning styles (visual, auditory, reading and writing, and kinesthetic). Most of my materials are a mixture of visual (i.e. powerpoints) with reading and writing activities included. But happy to amend as needed
