This is how 2 referees rated Susan:
I have had ONE space open up on Thursdays at 5pm to begin immediately.
I have been teaching since 2001, after I graduated with honours from Manchester Metropolitan University.I live in Coppenhall on the edge of Crewe. I tutor in my home only. I am 43 years old and am happily married to my husband with whom I have two small children.
I am currently offering evenings between 4pm and 7pm depending on the day of the week.
I am a fully qualified, CRB checked, currently working Maths teacher. I have current experience of teaching all ages from 11 to 18, and of preparing for all levels of exam entry. I have taught GCSE for several exam boards, currently OCR, but also Edexcel and AQA. Before the KS3 SAT's were removed I was an exam marker, which allows me to identify what exam boards are looking for to award marks.
At A level, my experience is with OCR and Edexcel only. I have not taught the other boards and this should be considered if you are looking for A Level tuition.
My method of teaching involves encouraging the learner to become active in discovering the way that numbers relate to each other. By discovering the building blocks of maths, they are more able to take their existing knowledge and apply it in a new and different situation. Trying to keep things light hearted and have some fun helps the learner to make sense of it all and releases the terror that some associate with maths.

Feel really lucky
SHE HAS EXPLAINED THINGS FULLY SO HE CAN NOW UNDERSTAND HOW TO COMPLETE TASKS TO THE BEST OF HIS ABILITY.
Working really well with my daughter and giving her confidence in how to deal with her maths.
Sue was a great tutor, and made things very clear, and easy to understand. After several lessons I finally passed!!
Becks (my daughter) says that she is patient, explains things well and has a very detailed understanding of the requirements of the examining board that she is taking (OCR). She believes the tutoring is great value for money and would recommend her to anyone who needs extra support. Cannot say how greatful we are to have found her!
