Tutoring Experience

Over nine years in education, I have honed my teaching skills through diverse experiences. I started as a private tutor, guiding primary and secondary students through Mathematics and Physics. Later, at tuition academy, I taught Physics and Mathematics to O-level and IGCSE students, adapting quickly to new curricula while refining classroom management and organizational abilities. As a Senior Science Teacher for the Department of Education, I navigated challenges in underprivileged areas, mastering techniques to support diverse students, including those with learning disabilities and behavioral difficulties. These experiences enriched my adaptability, confidence, and communication skills.

I believe in creating relatable experiences that ignite curiosity, like taking students to a dam to demonstrate scientific concepts. I've mastered varied teaching methods, from student-centered problem-solving to technology-integrated learning. My assessment techniques, combining both formative and summative methods, have yielded impressive exam results. In adapting to the challenges of online teaching during the pandemic, I used video animation to simplify complex subjects, ensuring no student was left behind.
