I have a degree in History (Exeter University) and did my PGCE (teaching qualification) at Hull University. I taught at primary schools for many years, all ages, and I also have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate (with Distinction) I have considerable tutoring experience - both English and foreign students and am happy to travel from my home at Hedge End, Southampton.

Tutoring Experience

I have considerable tutoring experience, both for primary children needing to improve their English (including SATS prep) and foreign students coming over, as individuals or in groups.

Tutoring Approach

First, I love tutoring! I genuinely enjoy one-to-one tuition and treat every student as an individual. I have a very versatile approach and am prepared to produce ‘a package’ for whatever period of time is required.
