I am a semi-retired engineer with a life-long interest in teaching.
I teach mainly GCSE mathematics, but can also coach A-level maths & GCSE Physics.
I am a current author/editor in GCSE & A-level maths for Harper Collins & Pearson publishers, and I am current on the various exam board requirements for GCSE & IGCSE.
I have been tutoring maths for a number of years now, with some outstanding results achieved by pupils I have taught.
I tutored maths to school pupils whilst at university, and I lectured part-time in mechanical engineering subjects for 10 years during my early working career.
I adjust tutoring speed and level to suit a pupil's current standard and ability in the subject. My teaching covers the full range from weak students trying to improve their grade, to strong students who wish to secure the highest grade within their capability.
Most of my students are longer term, but I often do short term tuition, such as during school holidays.
