I have a degree in Theology, specialising in music and also a Certificate of Education from the Maranatha Foundation. I have been involved in the music profession for 20 years as an artist and producer, during which time I produced three solo albums of my own material. I have also had experience with studio recording principles using Logic Pro.

I have toured the USA and Canada whilst playing in a band as lead singer and rhythm guitarist. I am currently working in a new band as keyboard player. I am also a published author under the pseudonym Ben C. Lawes.

I am also an ordained church minister and Bible Teaching Elder at Amplify Church in Hardingham, Norfolk. I also teach vocal coaching and guitar.

Tutoring Experience

I am qualified to teach in Christian Schools up to age 16. I have also home educated all my children from learning to read up to the equivalent of GCSE level.

I am experienced in teaching younger children as well as up to mid-teens but my unique style of encouragement and fun will appeal to all levels. I am passionate about ensuring that students enjoy learning and no matter what standard you may be at, I will aim to bring out your best.

Tutoring Approach

I believe each pupil is an individual and should be treated thus in an education process. I ensure that learning is made fun in order to keep it at an enjoyable level and to keep motivation at its highest. I therefore make tuition individually based and person-centred.
