I am an experienced teacher of psychology. I have been head of department twice and have taught at several colleges in London. I am confident and knowledgeable of the AQA curriculum. I also have supported many students in their undergraduate and MSc to complete their essay and dissertation writing, as well as proofreading.

With 20 years experience in tutoring and having worked in several London colleges, I am confident in my ability to support you in your studies on all areas relating to psychology, whether theoretical understanding, academic skills, critical thinking or statistical proficiency.

A dynamic tutor, passionate about psychology, I will help you in your learning towards exams and in improving your grades either face-to-face or remotely via Google Meet or Skype. Having completed the masters degree in Health Psychology and with a teaching qualification (DTLLS), I have thorough knowledge of theoretical, academic and report writing skills. I will help you complete your essays, research projects, dissertations, reviews of the literature and reports. I am also available to proofread and edit coursework and documents.

I aim at engaging my students through practical activities. I will tailor the material to your specific requirements, identifying any areas of difficulty, to maximize learning and improve grades. My aim is to progressively enthuse my learners as they develop insight into this fascinating topic to better understand themselves and others.

Tutoring Approach

I use presentations to deliver the material, followed by questions and activities for students to learn the material. I support students to complete essays and past exam papers, although students often require support with existing assignments. In this case, I provide feedback to ensure they learn ways to improve their work, and ultimately, their attainment.
