I am holding Ph.D degree in Chemistry with 2 peer reviewed publications and more than 10 years teaching experience in higher education helping me to improve grade of those who want to achieve higher grade. I have passed my M.Sc in medicinal chemistry with first class from St. Xavier's college and scored highest marks.
For me, organic chemistry including molecular rearrangements, name reactions, synthesis of drugs, nomenclature, and characterization of spectroscopy are the area of expertise.
Along with organic chemistry, I also possess good knowledge of analytical chemistry with topics such as spectroscopic instrumentation and interpretation, wet chemical analysis and classical chemical analysis and inorganic chemistry.
I used to work as the development chemist in pharmaceutical field.#/k#
I am glad to say that one of my GCSE tutees has scored highest marks in her school and also every year my students have achieved higher grade.
After one complete year (2018-2019) of our hard work my GCSE students have achieved A* and A; all of my A2 students have scored A and got admission in their desired university and secured their first-choice university places on courses like Pharmacy, Biomedical Science etc. at Queen’s University.
I can provide references of all students upon request.
Currently, I am tutoring GCSE to university chemistry students and the most of my tutees have achieved A, A* and B grade in chemistry. Many of them started with me having C or D grades.
I have limited availability as I have booked tutees who got reference from my previous students.
I have taught students with different levels from stage two to universities.
I have tutored students taking their 11 plus entrance exam for grammar school. I helped them by providing extra study materials to improve their overall progress.
I have an experience of being the assistant examiner of postgraduate studies and was one of the examiners in a postgraduate practical examination. While I was working on my Ph.D., I used to go for private tuition for students ranging from primary to graduate and postgraduate levels.
I like to accept challenges and I am eager to accept students who really want to get the grade up by understanding subject better. I always look after student’s weak points and also teach beyond the textbook to understand the topic and to build confidence about the subject, a key to successful teaching.
