I am a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE for 16-19 year olds. I have been teaching since 2007 and currently manage a Sports department. I have taught and managed A Level PE (Edexcel & AQA), BTEC Level 2 & 3 Sport courses and moderate GCSE PE. I am the Lead internal verifier with overall responsibility for BTEC courses as part of my managemnet position.

Tutoring Experience

I am an extremely approachable PE & Sports professional with extensive experience of working within the industry. I both tutor and assess on the level 2 gym instructor certificate as well as coach football and am currently working with the FA to complete the FA fitness instructors certificate enabling me to work with premier league and lower divisions.

I am a very pragmatic teacher who has extremely high standards. I am relaxed and approachable and can tailor my teaching methods to suit the individual needs of the learner. I enjoy teaching young people and watching them develop their skills and knowledge to enhance their achievement.
