I am a Mexican-American, Originally from Texas. I dedicated several years to study mathematics. I have a degree in maths, an MSc in maths and a PhD in maths. I have published 2 books on the subject (available on amazon) and several peer-reviewed papers in professional journals. As you can see my passion is maths and especially how we learn it.
I have taught maths at all levels (except primary school). I worked in Portland Place School in London where I taught years 7 to 10 and 6th-formers. I also taught in university and I have been tutoring for 10 years now.
I am very results-oriented. I try to transmit love and passion for the subject (as I have it), but also I am conscious that the student has to pass an exam. So I work with the 2 approaches in mind towards a successful grade. I also have periodic reviews with the parents.
