Tutoring Approach

My experience as a teacher goes back a long way, and I always try to see things from the student's perspective.
At the end of the courses, I could get a good scores from my students. I found out that for teaching well, I must have a good relationship with my students and understand them. If I feel they couldn't get the concept, I change the way until they can understand.
I think the comments of former students about me could reflect my behaviour and my teaching approach.
I share three of them below.

"I am delighted to write a letter to support Dr Danishvar for his outstanding teaching and research capabilities. I am super gratified to have him as my university instructor, project supervisor, paper collaborator, and above of all, a spectacular mentor during my academic life."

"I am writing this to share my experience with my undergraduate project advisor and lifelong mentor Dr Sebelan Danishvar.
My first interaction with Dr Danishvar was during my third semester in his Physiology and Anatomy classes. His interactive teaching style while introducing practical examples made me really interested in both subjects. At the time, I did not have a strong biology background, but these courses made me feel confident enough to define my undergraduate capstone project on a biomedical application later on.
I also want to point out to one of the best class experiences I have ever had, which was also with Dr Danishvar.
Thank Dr Danishvar's interactive teaching style that was accompanied by a lot of positive reinforcements; I became so interested in the topic and was able to master image processing in no time.
Right now, I am a PhD student in one of the top ten graduate institutions with many publications including publishing with nature publishing group, springer, and etc. and am very grateful for every step I took in this journey.
I think we are living in a world in which we can enjoy an abundance of available knowledge online; However, what we need the most in our academic institutions are mentors who can create an interactive dynamic, make students feel confident in dreaming big and help them achieve those dreams. Dr Danishvar is the first one that comes to my mind that would perfectly match these descriptions."

"It is my pleasure and honour to write this letter about Dr Sebelan Danishvar. I have worked with him for ten years as his student at the Sahand University of Technology, where he used his excellent knowledge and technical skills to deliver spectacular results in the role of assistant/associate professor of biomedical engineering. In these works, I have found him a well-organized, resourceful, humorous, dynamic, patient, proactive, versatile, observant and adaptable supervisor/professor, capable of keeping students on task and cooperating in a research team. What's more, Sebelan's extraordinary positive personality traits, including openness, affableness, helpfulness, and responsibility, always made him a stand-out member of the faculty.

I am currently an assistant professor of biomedical engineering at the Sahand University of technology. He has always supported me and taught me a lot, and I feel very grateful to have had an opportunity for having him as my supervisor and mentor. "

Peyvand Ghaderian (PhD)
