I have successfully coached and prepared my sons to gain entry into Sutton Grammar School and my daughter to gain entry into Nonsuch High School. I have also tutored other childen to help them gain entry into selective grammar schools.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently working in a primary school as a High Level Teaching Assistant providing cover for a Year 6 class and delivering either 1 to 1 or group tuition (maths and literacy) in the afternoons. I am also delivering a group tutoring session, after school, for the Gifted and Talented Mathematicians to enable them to achieve a SAT's level 6 at the end of the academic year.

I have a broad experience of the school curriculum at all levels and am well versed with the standards pupils need to achieve to gain success in the selective schools examinations.

Tutoring Approach

I offer interesting and structured lessons and adapt my tutoring method to suit students' particular learning styles.

I offer a methodical approach to complex concepts which enables students to understand and be able to apply strategies to solve problems confidently.

Each session will be planned according to the level of understanding achieved in the previous session and will be individually tailored to suit the student.
