Personal Description:

I am an experienced and highly skilled teacher (rated 'Outstanding' by OFSTED 3 times in 4 years). I consistently coax more out of tutees than they ever thought possible with my zealous approach to teaching. I am passionate about helping the individual child to fulfill his or her potential.

Since graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a First Class degree with Honours in 2012, I have taught full-time across Key Stages 1 and 2.
I achieved a specialism in Gifted & Talented education which is highly valuable in ensuring your child is consistently challenged and becomes a competent critical thinker. I provide individually tailored, effective and highly enjoyable tuition in a warm yet disciplined way to get the most out of each child.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 5 years teaching experience across the whole of Key Stages 1 and 2 in schools in Oxford, Cockermouth and Workington. I gained my first 'Outstanding' rating from OFSTED in my first year of teaching which demonstrates my natural flair for quality teaching and learning experiences. Furthermore, the children in my class consistently make accelerated progress. My passions lie particularly in the teaching of Maths.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach varies according to the student's profile and expectations. Once I know exactly what the student wants to learn, why they want to learn and how they learn best, I will put together an individual learning plan with targets so that we can measure progress.
