When i was looking for a tutor i wanted to find someone who was able to understand my strengths and weaknesses,
personalize teaching according to my ability and push me further.
With Sara being my Tutor, she has not only aimed to do those things but increased my self confidence. She motivates me to get to the position i want to be in and gives consistent words of encouragement.
I am particular happy with the way of teaching, she covers the content thoroughly and gives further information when needed.

Probably because it was an online session, my daughter found it difficult to understand her accent with terminologies

Thanks for your feedback. I need touring your attention towards the following:

1. I am NOT a native English speaker. This is highlighted in my profile and this is something that all
my students know. Moreover, prior to any booking, it is expected that the student/the parent of the student reads through the tutor's profile thoroughly.
2. Normally, during a teaching session, the student needs to focus on the session. In the Western countries, having the mother on the side and talking to her while the tutor is running the session is considered very rude. Besides, the session definitely does not work.
3. It is very important that the student is enthusiastic about new learning and does not assume that a tutor can do a miracle. Tutoring is a teamwork which needs the input from both sides (the teacher and the student) and depending on how dedicated the student is, the tutor/teacher gets inspiration to do his/her best to accommodate student's needs. Nothing can be achieved by unilateral work.

Finally, considering my long teaching experience, I know it very well that Online session is not the best for everyone; especially when the parent is sitting beside the student during the entire session.

So in light of all these and as I have already emailed you prior to your feedback, I also believe that you may try different tutoring alternatives. And no matter the option you choose, I wish all the best :)
